Ahem. I’ve been away a while. I want to rectify that. I don’t have a lot of time to type nowadays, but I feel that a bit of blogging might do me good, so I’m going to attempt to do some daily. At least three times a week. Okay, at least once a week. We’ll see how it goes. I have lil bloggy events I’m participating in , so that’ll keep me going. It won’t be a big thing every day, but at least a bit of something.
Brief update in my life: We got a cat. We got a house. We got a garden. We got a new daughter. She shall be known as Squishy to my blog readers. Because she is deliciously squishy. And she’s 7 weeks old.
Ok, here’s the bloggy stuff:
Muffin Tin Monday- gets Wildflower to eat her lunch. I can’t complain. We don’t just do them on Mondays, but I”ll be blogging about them on Mondays only. Unless I have a really ingenious one on another day. I might blog it that day, or wait til the following Monday.
Tea for Tuesdays- I just found out about this one today. I found a great Herbal Mama Blog, and she does these. I’m going to join her. I hope she doesn’t mind. I need to make my infusions more than I do.
WIP (Work in Progress) Wednesdays- I have been making a concerted effort to craft more. This is hard for me, because it means I have less time to read books. And I love to read books. But, it’s part of my efforts to read less and do more (yes, that post is very, very old, but it’s something I”m always trying to do).
Simple Lives Thursday- Wardeh hosts this one. “a blog hop dedicated to simple living. “Consume less, produce more. ” So many topics fit: Gardening, raising animals, cooking from scratch, real food, natural cleaners, sewing, recycling, thrifting, a mindset of simplicity, saving a buck…”
This Moment- “A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.” ~ Soulemama
Preserving the Bounty. Over at Nourished Kitchen, she’s doing this challenge. I thought it was great. For week #1, I pickled green beans. Tasty!
Herbal Blog Party. If I have something to say about the subject, I’m participating! That happens monthly.
