What child is this?

I’m Katrina. I live in the Midwest, and I am 25 years old. I’ve been married for nearly 4 years, and I have a nearly two year old. We homeschool. Unschool, actually. We live in a tiny apartment, and try to live as naturally as we can. The cool thing about being “green” is that it’s usually cheap and good for you too- those are three things I try to accomplish with our choices, so it’s nice when they all work together like that. Hello World.

I have a blog! I want to include pictures- at least one per blog post- because that’s my favorite thing about other people’s blogs, is the pictures!

Here’s the post that kind of got me thinking about starting a blog of my own:

Is it asking too much to want to be

Hathor the CowGoddes
SouleMama
Penny Simkin
Kiva-Rose
and Rachel Brice

All at once?

Hmm… The Boy says it is.

Maybe I can be as attached as Hathor (check)

As crafty as Soulemama (getting there)

As good a doula as Penny Simkin (a ways to go yet)

As good an herbalist as Kiva (NOWHERE close yet)

and as good a bellydancer as Rachel Brice (in my dreams)– or at least an accomplished bellydancer in my own right.

In reality… they’re just faces for different aspects of myself. 🙂
